Duración: un ciclo escolar  
El programa de este curso comprende:  
  
· Principios filosóficos y pedagógicos  
de la Dra. Montessori.  
· Técnicas de uso y propósito del  
material Montessori en las cuatro  
áreas de:  
*Vida práctica  
*Sensorial  
*Lenguaje  
*Matemáticas  
  
(Las áreas de Sensorial y Lenguaje incluyen: geografía, biología, historia, música y arte)  
  
· Técnicas de observación  
· Observación en escuelas Montessori  
· Práctica en escuelas Montessori  
· Elaboración de material  
· Lectura y discusión de libros de la Dra. Montessori.

Para obtener el Diploma AMI de este nivel, el estudiante deberá haber cubierto el 90% de asistencias, haber cumplido con las horas requeridas de observación y práctica, entregado un álbum sobre el material de cada área, así como aprobar satisfactoriamente los exámenes escritos y los orales que se presentarán ante examinadores externos, uno de ellos enviado por AMI.

· Observation in Montessori schools  
· Practice in Montessori schools  
· Elaboration of material  
· Reading and discussion of Dr.  
Montessori books

To obtain the AMI Diploma of this level, the student must have 90% attendance, having fulfilled the required hours of observation and practice, having delivered a book with the material of each area and having passed the written examinations, and the oral exams the student will be subject to by external examiners, one of them sent by AMI.
